The inner rail is in contact with the wheelset of rail flat car and guides the wheelset to travel according to the predetermined trajectory; the outer rail is in contact with the limiters and restricts the travelling range of electric rail cart to ensure that it does not exceed the predetermined area.

When electric platform trolley travels to the bend, the motor controller receives the turning signal, and by adjusting the speed and steering of the motor, rail transfer trolley enters the bend smoothly. At this time, the inner track provides enough friction to ensure that rail transfer trolley maintains a stable travelling speed at the bend; the outer track plays a restricting role to keep rail transfer trolley on a stable travelling trajectory and avoid deviation from the track due to centrifugal force and other factors.

 

During the cornering process, the wheelset will be subject to the lateral force caused by the centrifugal force generated by the corner. In order to reduce the influence of lateral force on the stability of rail flat car, the wheelset is designed as a drum-shaped wheel, which enables rail transfer trolley to adjust its direction automatically during the travelling process.

At the same time, the motor and controller adopt advanced control algorithms to monitor the travelling status of rail transfer cart in real time and adjust the motor speed and steering according to the actual situation to ensure the stable operation of rail transfer cart on the curved road.
