Aligning with the client’s production workflow, we defined the core transfer route and operational requirements: transporting components from the production workshop to the assembly workshop over an 800-meter distance. This path requires navigating three narrow passages and two workshop gates, demanding precise steering, smooth start/stop capabilities, and adaptability to Qatar’s hot, dry outdoor environment. Material handling equipment must also handle high-frequency transfers for 8 hours daily.

Engineering Design of 40 Ton Motorized Transfer Trolley

 

The body of 40 ton transfer cart employs a reinforced steel structural frame, with core load-bearing components made from 40Cr alloy structural steel. After quenching and tempering heat treatment, it achieves a hardness of HRC28-32 and a tensile strength ≥510MPa, effectively withstanding the pressure of 40-ton loads. It ensures long-term heavy-duty operation without deformation or fracture risks. Additionally, it features anti-corrosion coating treatment, making it suitable for Qatar’s outdoor dry and dusty environment.

 

The wheel system employs heavy-duty wear-resistant wheels integrated with distributed load-bearing technology. This evenly disperses concentrated weight, reduces ground pressure, and prevents damage to factory floors.

 

To meet indoor/outdoor transfer needs, the battery-powered drive system utilizes high-capacity lithium batteries with a dual-cell parallel design. A single charge supports 8-10 hours of continuous heavy-duty operation.
